Kickstart Canada gives you the opportunity to hit the ground running while giving you the freedom to wait until you’re actually over there to decide where it is you would like to work and play for the entire season. With job fairs in Canada being held throughout September & October it really is a great opportunity to start the adventure early before the crowds come flocking in and really take in everything that the beautiful country has to offer. 

It also gives you the chance to check out your new environment before committing to a whole season. Don’t fancy a particular town/resort? Easy! Check your job fair handbook, jump on the next train and go check out another destination before the local job fair.

This program gives you all the tools, assistance and guidance you will need to find yourself a job within some of the country’s best ski resorts and local businesses. With job fairs being held from B.C to Quebec, new job postings being listed daily and in-country support from Sept-Dec; it really is great way to experience a working holiday at your own pace and all on a budget!

Application and Recruitment Process

Application Process:

• All enquiries can be made through any of our travel partners (Flight Centre, Student Flights or OWH) or directly to the WHC on 1300 295 579.
• Once your application has been received a WHC consultant will be in contact to discuss package deals available and help you choose the right program that best suits your desires and travel plans.
• Your WHC consultant will then need to pre-screen your suitability for the destination of your choice as every country has different working visa requirements (please refer to our visa requirements page for more details).
• Once you have selected your destination and been pre-screened by a WHC consultant you will then be issued with an invoice for your deposit of $300 which must be paid in FULL before the recruitment process can begin.
